The shop is now closed for the next two – possibly three weeks, while I take my annual Hungry Gap break. It is timed to coincide with the period when very little fresh UK grown produce is available, and enables me to put all my efforts into growing at Moyns Park. I realise that it is inconvenient, but I hope that you understand why this short hiatus is necessary. Perhaps my absence will make hearts grow fonder? At this point it is my intention to attend the farmers’ market at Wyken on Saturday 16th, but I will have a very limited offering of produce on the stall. I am mainly going to hawk some chilli pepper plants that I have raised, so do come along if you would like to grow some yourself.
