Sorry folks, no blog this week. We have had visitors all afternoon and I would really like a little bit of R&R this evening. I don’t want to be stuck at my keyboard grudgingly, if I am to communicate with my adoring public I would like to give it my undivided attention, and today that ain’t gonna happen. Here’s hoping for a quieter Sunday next week.
Just a quick note to thank so many of you for your kind words (and deeds) of support recently, recognising what a struggle that this growing season has been. It’s very humbling to know how much you care, you’re the tops. I am hanging in there but it has taken its toll. I need a holiday, so I’m going to take the first week of September off. I haven’t booked any accommodation, so it may just be a week spent at home, but it will be a chance to recharge the almost spent batteries.
The weather looks like being much more kind this week, so make the most of it and catch up on your sleep….I hope to.
