This is a short reminder to inform you that I am in Devon on holiday for a week, so please don’t place an order. Normal service will resume next week.
The weather has been beautiful so far, but thankfully not the 31° that is forecast for you today! It’s a very pleasant mid-20’s here – warm enough to tempt me to swim in the sea twice yesterday, once at the magical cove shown above, which is only accessible on foot, and is less than a mile from our cottage. The other dip was at nearby Hope Cove. The countryside here is stunningly beautiful, and our holiday home is close to perfect. It even has a dozen or more House Martin nests under the eaves of the roof, so there is constant activity as they feed hungry babies. We are at the end of a tiny lane, so there is nothing for Nellie to bark at, which makes for a far more relaxing break, and there are footpaths aplenty right on our doorstep.
